Vincent Sawmill Museum
Through the story of the Vincent family, this museum immerses visitors in a chapter of industrial history. Founded in the mid-19th century by Jean-Baptiste Vincent, a visionary craftsman, the sawmill illustrates the technological changes that marked its operation. From 1893, it was equipped with a steam engine produced by SACM, powered by a marine-type boiler dating from 1907. This ensemble, now classified as industrial heritage, testifies to the technical ingenuity of the time.
Although the sawmill ceased operations in 1990, its heritage has been preserved thanks to the founders' determination. Visitors can thus discover this historic site, open year-round from 1 p.m.
