Water Jets on Rue du Sauvage

In 2009, the upper part of Rue du Sauvage underwent a unique landscaping project.

A distinctive paving was laid to mark the location of an old city gate, while water jets were installed to recall the paths of the waterways that once crossed the city.

These visual and playful elements offer passersby a subtle yet tangible reminder of the historical and hydrographic past of this neighborhood.
