Weck Wines Clément and Sons

The history of Domaine Weck dates back to 1696, when the Weck family, winemakers for thirteen generations, settled in Gueberschwihr. Driven by a constant quest for perfection, these wine artisans uphold a heritage where every gesture matters, inspired by Saint-Exupéry's maxim: "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." Their commitment is reflected in a deep respect for the Alsace terroir, where each vine is cultivated with care and passion.

The estate embodies this philosophy through environmentally respectful practices. The transition to organic farming was a natural step, reflecting their desire to preserve the natural balance of the soils. Artisan methods, from vineyard work to pressing, are favored to express the authenticity of the terroir. Each plot, each grape variety, is treated as a unique entity, capturing the very essence of Alsace.

The art of winemaking at Domaine Weck goes beyond technique to become a subtle alchemy. From delicate pressing to aging in tanks or large wooden casks, every step is orchestrated with precision. The resulting wines offer a sensory journey: from elegant, upright Rieslings to voluptuous Gewurztraminers, and sparkling bubbles, each bottle tells the story of an exceptional terroir and a passion passed down through generations.
