Wickerschwihr
This village first appears in records in 728. Until 1837, it was an integral part of the Holtzwihr territory. Its fertile soils, cultivated notably by farms owned by various religious foundations, made it a place marked by active and diverse agriculture. During World War II, the village was completely evacuated and suffered heavy damage during the battles of the Colmar Pocket. After the conflict, the community rebuilt itself while preserving its traditional crops, such as potatoes, beets, and cabbage, gradually opening up to industry and services to regain economic balance.
