Wolfgantzen
This village, with its earliest records dating back to 1044 under the name Wolgangesheim, has experienced a turbulent history.
Destroyed during the Thirty Years' War, it was later rebuilt to rise from its ashes.
In September 1939, its inhabitants had to be evacuated, marking a new chapter in its existence.
It was only from the 1970s, with the region's industrial growth, that the village began to expand significantly.
Notable features include the Saint-Wolfgang Church, built in 1877, and a forest ranger's house dating from 1890.
It is also bordered by the Kastenwald forest, adding to its natural charm.
