Wolfisheim Synagogue

The Wolfisheim Synagogue, constructed in 1894, marks an important milestone in the religious history of the town.

Made from Vosges sandstone, a local material, it has a simple and sturdy aesthetic.

It was built to replace the former prayer room, which had become too small to accommodate the community.

This place of worship thus reflects the evolving spiritual needs and architectural style of the time.
