Zénith Strasbourg Europe
Designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas, the Zénith Strasbourg is the largest in France by capacity, with over 12,000 seats.
It attracts a diverse audience well beyond the metropolitan area and region thanks to a program of major shows and international artists.
Its imposing architecture, as large and tall as the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris, is based on a steel and concrete structure, favoring durable and recyclable materials.
Its elliptical, dynamic, and modern facade is highlighted by a translucent textile membrane (glass fibers coated with orange silicone) that wraps the metal structure.
This fabric captures daylight and diffuses it at night, creating spectacular light effects over the metropolitan area.
The building then takes on the appearance of an autonomous sculpture, especially to be admired at dusk. Under this orange fabric, the audience can also enjoy the stars during concerts or shows.
