Zoological and Botanical Park

Founded in 1868, the Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park covers 25 hectares of greenery in the heart of the city. Recognized as a "Remarkable Garden," it offers an exceptional setting for a nature getaway, blending relaxation and wonder.

The park invites visitors on a journey through the world's ecosystems: the Arctic with its polar bears, South America with its tropical biodiversity, Asia with its primates, Madagascar with its lemurs, and Africa with its immersive Horizon Africa area, where savanna and tropical forest house giraffes, zebras, and gazelles in a spectacular setting.

Visitors can discover nearly 2,200 animals and thousands of plants in an environment where well-being and nature harmoniously coexist.

Committed for decades to protecting endangered species, the park participates in conservation programs in Europe and internationally, making every visit a meaningful contribution to biodiversity. Fun, educational, and inspiring, it offers a complete experience combining leisure, education, and awareness of living preservation.
