Christmas Treasure Hunt: Discovering the Spark of Soufflenheim

What if Christmas in Alsace became an adventure to experience with family or friends?

In 2026, the Christmas treasure hunts in Alsace take on a new dimension around a mysterious and wonderful story.

Fifty-seven Alsatian villages and towns transform into life-sized playgrounds, where illuminated streets, decorated squares, and festive landscapes invite exploration and discovery of local traditions.

Armed with an adventurer's passport and a game sheet, participants, young and old, set out to find the Christmas shards to light up the legendary flame of Alsatian Christmas. By solving puzzles and riddles, they wander through enchanting alleys, admiring decorations and enjoying mulled wine or other local specialties.

Once the challenges are completed, a well-deserved treasure rewards the adventurers.

This free activity, accessible to all audiences, takes place from November 25, 2026, to January 6, 2027. Passports and game sheets are available at tourist offices and participating partners.
