Nativity Scene Trail - Saint Antoine Church

Installed from 1963 to replace an old nativity scene with plaster statues, this one is now entirely made of wood.

The figures, including the Holy Family, the announcing angel, shepherds, and sheep, are the work of local sculptor Bernard Ledermann.

The costs were covered by the Fabric Council and generous donors.

The structure and sky backdrop are assembled by Fabric Council members with volunteers, while the team of flower ladies handles the floral decoration.

The old nativity scene has been preserved and displayed under the bell tower, where it is visible from outside upon arriving at the church.
