Apprentice Basket Weavers

Once common along the Rhine, basket weaving has gradually disappeared from daily use.

This workshop offers a chance to reconnect with this tradition by learning how to make a basket.

Guided by Raymond Oesterle, an enthusiastic amateur basket weaver, participants will discover the fundamental techniques of this craft. To take part, it is necessary to bring a sharp knife and pruning shears. Prior registration is mandatory to secure a spot in this workshop.
