Nativity Scene Trail - Saint Martin Church
A 3.5 meter by 2.8 meter scenic fresco highlights significant episodes from the life of Christ. Scenes include the flight into Egypt, the destruction of the Jerusalem temple, the miraculous catch of fish at Tiberias, the Wedding at Cana, and Golgotha. The nativity figures, some over a century old, come from a donation by Marie-Anne Naegel, who passed away on September 3, 1871. These figures, recently restored by Mrs. Hulné, a local resident, represent a carefully preserved artistic and historical heritage.
