Founded in 1614 and still run by the same family, Domaine Jean-Baptiste Adam is located in Ammerschwihr, in the heart of the Alsace Wine Route. Today, Laure, the winemaker, continues this tradition by inviting you to explore biodynamics, a natural method that synchronizes earthly and cosmic cycles to strengthen the vitality of the vines. This approach promotes exchanges between the soil and roots, as well as between the sky and leaves, based on the principle that "without life in the soil, there can be no terroir effect." You will discover how these ancient practices influence the quality of the wines produced here.

During this visit, you will learn the fundamentals of biodynamics in viticulture before taking part in a comparative tasting of Grand Cru Kaefferkopf wines. This cru stands out for its unique terroir, where varied granite and limestone soils shape wines of great complexity. Unlike most Alsace Grand Crus, often made from a single grape variety, Kaefferkopf is characterized by blends that can combine Gewurztraminer, Riesling, and Pinot Gris, offering a rich and varied aromatic palette. An immersive experience to understand the alliance between tradition and innovation in Alsace wines.
