Former Protestant Presbytery (House of the Arcades)
Built in 1606 on the Grand’rue, this remarkable building is the work of Albert Schmidt, an architect also known for the House of the Knights of Saint John (1608) and the House of the Heads (1609).
In the German Renaissance style, the building rises three stories high and is characterized by its scroll gables and corner bay windows, which frame the building at each end and give it a distinctive elegance.
