Rieff and Haller Colonies
At the beginning of the 20th century, architect Schwartz designed for SOMCO a group of 65 houses spread across several streets (Delle, Bussang, Gray, and Héricourt). These two-story homes are joined in groups of two, three, four, or five and come with small private gardens. When Dornach was annexed by Mulhouse in 1914, this neighborhood was renamed in honor of the former mayor of Dornach, who served from 1831 to 1855. Additionally, in 1907, Fritz Haller, originally from Strasbourg, built a complex of buildings between Pommiers Street and Grains Street, which now bears his name.
