The House of Ami Fritz
If you visit Wissembourg, nicknamed the little Alsatian Venice, take the time to discover the house of Ami Fritz.
This building, once owned by tanners, was built in 1550.
It is famous for being the filming location of the 1932 movie *L'Ami Fritz*, adapted from the famous novel by Erckmann-Chatrian.
Don't leave without admiring its portal and oriel window, two remarkable features that perfectly illustrate the typical Renaissance architecture of Alsace.
