Jewish Cemetery

Niederrœdern was a major Jewish center in the 19th century, with 311 Jewish residents in 1849. A synagogue built in 1869, destroyed in 1945, testified to this history. The local cemetery, opened in 1878, replaced an older site in Trimbach.
